SGTV to Broadcast Canvassing Board Meetings

Great news! Seminole County Government Television (SGTV), the County’s official government television channel, will provide live coverage of Seminole County Canvassing Board meetings leading up to the August 20 primary election.
The Canvassing Board is scheduled to meet:
Wednesday, August 14, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., for canvassing of mail ballots
Thursday, August 15, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., for canvassing of mail ballots
Friday, August 16, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., for canvassing of mail ballots
Saturday, August 17, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., for canvassing of mail ballots
Monday, August 19, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., for canvassing of mail ballots
Tuesday, August 20 (Election Day), 4 p.m. – 9 p.m., for canvassing of mail ballots and certification of initial results
The Seminole County Canvassing Board is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the election process, including the review of vote-by-mail ballots, provisional ballots, and the certification of election results. By broadcasting these meetings live, SGTV aims to give residents a clearer understanding of the processes that uphold the integrity of Seminole County elections.
